Due to a few technical difficulties with my computer, October’s EPIC HALLOWEEN COLLECTION, will be somewhat delayed in it’s release. Look for it October 5th :)
This collection stands to be one of my FAVORITE Collections of ALL TIME. LOL, I would show you a preview but unfortunately until my computer’s fusion drive is replaced I have nothing else to read my lightning external drive from ;) Yay for technology, good times..
Rest assured, this collection WILL BE SO WORTH YOUR WHILE! There is a very slight chance it will be ready to go before the 5th, but we are officially calling it the fifth so there will be plenty of time after said computer is back home and up and running.

I’m having one of those Saturdays when I can’t decide what to focus on. It probably means I have too many good things on my plate ;) I’ve been working on a cute little project for Pebbles. Brenda is a new client of mine, so finding our sweet spot has been a little challenging, but oh, this line is going to be CUTE. I’m also working on a few websites as of late, which is a new service I am starting to offer more.

In the past I’ve been very hesitant to design websites because coding and implementing the site usually turns into a HUGE HEADACHE.. However, will recent tools and skills in my toolbox ;) I’ve found a formula that I really like!
I’ve also been doing some fun home design projects. Which I can’t currently show you because of the contract I am under ;) but as soon as I can.. Totally will :)
It’s been my intention to create some AMAZING creativity classes this year. I haven’t decided the complete format yet, but it’s going to be EPIC. Lots of tricks and tools for increasing your creativity and your confidence in doing what you love. I’m pretty excited about it. Creativity isn’t just a gift that few are blessed with, it’s a way of life, a way of thinking that puts you into the perfect alignment to be, well a creator. And ANYONE can be a creator. True.

A little scrap therapy this morning :) It’s been waaaaaaaaay too long ;) This is my beautiful daughter, Brenna Coleman.. hard to believe she is going to be 16 this year!
A very simple and clean layout for my sweet daughter :) The paper and brushes are a part of our April Member Collection; Color Me Happy (in the shoppe tomorrow!) December is definitely where it’s at, Christmas carols, decorating your tree, your house, your yard, holiday baking, elf on the shelf antics, letters to Santa, holiday parties, and let’s not forget all the shopping, shopping, shopping.. Seriously, OMG, breathe.. That’s good, in and out.. Now sit down and actually relax by that fire, for just a minute or two while the room stops spinning ;) If you are anything like me, you find that during the happiest season of the year, it is far too easy to get caught up in all the holiday merrymaking. This year I am actually making a point to say NO to the traditions that cause more stress than they are worth, and focus on JOY and why not, I will throw in a little peace for good measure too :)
How will I accomplish this?? First, I’m going to give the gift that keeps on giving.. A Little ME time. It’s the most overlooked gift that you could give. Time alone with just you, unplugged, UNDISTURBED. And the ONLY way it’s going to happen is if I mark it down on my calendar. (Sound the alarm!) Give it a try. Schedule a time at a coffee shop with your favorite podcast or playlist and a hot cup of joe. Or, a bath using products that don’t have ninja or kitty in the name, even just a few minutes walking around a mall NOT shopping would be a good start to giving yourself the gift of time this holiday season. I’m ALL OVER THIS :)
Secondly, I am just going to ENJOY.
All the moments. Even the not so perfect ones. I will enjoy the baking, gift-wrapping, cocoa making, Christmas song singing or whatever I find myself doing this holiday season. But I will be making each moment count by actually being present in those moments.. What’s that? Is it possible to turn off my ever planning, constantly working brain long enough to just ENJOY? Well, hell, just watch me. I vow this year to take it all in moment by moment and just enjoy. Perhaps you will give that one a go as well? Enjoy the cold, the cuddling and wherever you find yourself. Making moments count just as they happen will make your holiday brighter.
And this December, I will be giving out random acts of goodness via Little Dreamer :) As you may have noticed, my birthday sale is still in FULL effect. Yay! I am also holding a drawing to give away some 2015 annual memberships. Random Drawings will be held all month, to enter leave us love on our facebook page, or leave a comment here on our blog :)

So much to be thankful for today
Everyone is happy, healthy, and whole. We have tons and tons of delicious food that has been lovingly prepared for today (and tomorrow!) for us to fill ourselves of it’s goodness. Spending the weekend surrounded by loved ones..
And we have a new puppy :)
Her name is India, We are already calling her Indie.. She is a Malshi born on Oct. 17th, the runt of the litter; not projected to be over 4 pounds.. She is perfect We are in LOVE with her!

Happy October!! Oh, how I love this time of year. The colors start changing, the air becomes crisper and all the spooks come out to play :) I love it. Since the birth of my own little spook, eleven Halloweens ago (wow, time does fly) Halloween has become one of our very favorite holidays without question. We are used to going all out and throwing big parties, dressing to the nines.. It’s just what we do ;)

Sharing a page from my personal journal today :)
Today I stood on the step of my porch and watched in awe as the giant cottonwood tree behind my house released thousands upon thousands of cotton seed. Snowing down mounds and mounds of cotton. It swirled and whirled and as I looked up into the sky. I felt a little like Alice; in a giant glass globe where someone had just finished shaking it. Delicate fluffy flakes of snow swirling all around me. Coating the flowers and bushes, the green grass, everything it touched, Covered in fluff.
I’ve never seen anything like it.. And it just kept coming. At first, it was magical, let’s go out and dance in it! Then the sneezing, allergies kicks in, it sticks to EVERYTHING, it keeps coming.. Can I knit with this?? :/ And I started to get a little irritated, how long does this sucker go?? 3 Weeks.. Really? WTH.
All yard work has ceased. What’s the point really.. 10 minutes and you are covered in floof.. Yes, there are reprieves here and there, but when it’s not snowing down floof, there is enough floof covered grass and bushes to make up for it. I don’t even know where to BEGIN to dig out my flowers.. And the space where my vegetables were to be planted.. Well, it looks like perhaps a sheep has exploded.. Poor sheep.
This has been my mind set…I’ve been grumbling…And then I stopped. Where was my gratitude? My initial reaction to seeing this was one of awe; it was magical. Calming. And then I went a step further. How many times in my life have I allowed irritation to creep in and take over; when life does not look like how I imagined it would? How I imagined it should? Why am I still so intent on making a life that has to look a certain way? Has that not been my recipe for heartache? I have learned, good & bad, life is perfect, and has been perfect in teaching me the lessons that I’ve set out to learn. SO STOP CONTROLLING HOW IT LOOKS, & JUST ACCEPT IT FOR WHAT IT IS. And be grateful for what is.
I am so grateful. So fortunate. I LOVE my life. I love being able to create every day. I am afforded the privilege of working at home and providing for my family and I am grateful. And so blessed. Lately, I have allowed myself to get caught up in worry, and in doubt. I’ve been stressing; something big.. Honestly, It’s been a bit of a struggle lately keeping up with the finances of life, I see businesses closing left and right and when I let it :) it stresses me out.. Whew.. That’s a big one.. But when I had this thought of gratitude for everything that I have, for everything that I have been able to give my children… I was instantly flooded with such peace and such calm, I can’t explain it.. But it was such a gift.

I grappled with what to do this weekend, my leg has not healed completely from my lovely break so hiking and camping (my normal memorial day festivities) are sort of out this year. Instead we opted for a basement family carnival game night lol, Lorynn decided to handle all the decorations, she is hanging crepe paper streamers as I type and has carefully crafted our agenda for the evening. I’m pretty sure cotton candy is on the schedule.. FUN :) AND.. Wonder of wonders, I’ve gotten some designing in, AND some scrapping time in..

I’ve yet to really jump on the project life band wagon.. yes, I’ve thoroughly thought about it. More than once.. But I don’t really like boxes.. I like free flowing pages so much better.. And my son is now at an age where he is looking at the pages I have made my daughters and wanting to see pages of his own.. OHHH.. crap. LOL.
SO. I’m feeling a bit rusty.. Don’t get me wrong, I create EVERY SINGLE DAY. And I create products for project life and box scrapping, and of course everything else under the sun; but I haven’t scrapped in QUITE SOME TIME.. I can’t even remember, I would have to go back into my files, lol..Sad..
So, setting my clear intention, I am making Morgan his very own book with pictures of him, his sisters and his half brothers :) So you will ACTUALLY start to see pages from me again.. don’t be so shocked.. First page in AGES.. Here is my little man :) Oh, I’ve used random pieces here, everything from Little Dreamer. (I don’t know how NOT to use my own stuff!) Washi from Be Bold, a random monster doodle that has yet to find a home, A few of my CU Washi tapes too.. LOL, man I’m bad at credits ;) Hee Hee, I think THAT’s why I only use my own stuff!! OOOhhh, mystery solved.. :) Enjoy your weekend!

Man, I can’t believe it’s been May since I’ve posted in here.. LOL. No Bueno. :)
SOOO many things happening, where do I begin.
FIRST, Little Dreamer is getting a facelift. :) I’m so excited about this! It’s taking a little longer than anticipated because I am doing all the coding/design myself and I have to try to squeeze it between projects.. LOL, it’s almost there though :)
Besides the facelift, We will have a new members login system. New shoppe/gallery and a forum :) Also, I will be making all my current video tutorials available to everyone, not just members :) I am also going to be offering MORE types of products in the shoppe :) Custom iphone cases, home decor products, Art prints and more :) Super excited!
Hoping the big reveal will be sometime in August.. But I will be sure to post the actual date here :)

Wow, July is almost half over, I can’t believe it! I hope you’ve been out enjoying your summer! I wanted to share a sneak peek of what I’ve been working on today :) I am 95% sure ;) that this collection will be August’s Membership Download for Little Dreamer. It’s called Wonderlust, and it’s very painterly and ornate and completely different from my July release ;)
I’ve been having so much fun with it :) It will have lots of Travel Icons, line drawings and patterns and designs that pull from antique pottery and fresco paintings. Lots of texture and color here :) The possibilities of using this collection will be endless :)

We have been gifted with a beautiful 6 week old golden retriever puppy. My girl tribe + 1 boy are in puppy heaven. Me? I might be a little insane, but I’ve been reassured over and over and over, that they are completely ready for the responsibilities that come with said puppy.. <gulp> Plus I think I caved because I’ve really been wanting a running partner ;) PLUS, she is so dang cute.. How do you say no that face?? Seriously? How??

So, I took a little break from life with a fabulous girls trip to Vegas. WOW. We had such an amazing time. I went with my best friends, I’ve known them since the second grade. They have always been there for me through thick and thin, and I am so greatful every day of my life that they still play such an important role in my life. And this trip had it all ;) We laughed, we cried, we fought, we shopped, we danced, we sang, we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning. It was just what my spirit needed. I felt so Blessed.
Truly.
There is also something to be said about four beautiful women painting the town red in Vegas. Everywhere we went we had ‘suits’ coming up to us to put us on the guest list for this club or that club. We had no lines or covers to get in anywhere and sometimes even had open bar. PRETTY SWEET!! Vegas really knows how to hook a sister up :) And while I do have stories that I WON’T be sharing here ;) Man, we created some fabulous memories.. My stomach still hurts from laughing till dawn. We are already planning our next trip together. Look out NYC, here we come ;)

Ahhh. With so many things that bring me joy I decided to focus on friendship and fun today :)
Kind of a two-for-one.
First joy today; premium cable, yep. True. I don’t watch very much TV, I don’t really even Tivo anything anymore. But I have a handful of shows on HBO and Showtime that I am 100% addicted to.. Oh, they make me happy :) I am a HUGE fan of Dexter, Weeds, and Big Love, was a super massive fan of The Sopranos, I LOVE PREMIUM CABLE>> These series are like little mini movies that just keep you HOOKED.. They are brilliant.
I recently started watching the first season of Breaking Bad, I’d never heard of it before, BUT, wow, after the first episode, I just wanted to sit and watch the entire season straight through. It’s fantastic.
So, part two of today’s joy. Is watching said episodes with a good friend. I don’t know why, but somehow it just makes them better. A glass of wine, good company, it’s just fun. I have a great friend with whom I get together a few times a week and we watch Breaking Bad together. I think we both look forward to it, where we can rehash our day and then watch someone else’s disfunctional life for a while.. Yep.

So I am having a blast sharing my joy journal with you :) It’s refreshing to shift your focus once in a while and really think about the things in your life that make you happy. Little or big… The things that bring you joy. It does help to put what you have into perspective. And this journal has been very good for me.
Today’s little joy, is food related. [Yes, I’m a foodie and PROUD of it!] But let’s zero in, shall we? Today’s little joy is more accurately known as.. Sushi… YUM.
Yes, Sushi just makes me happy… It’s almost like eating an art form. How cool is that?? I mean just LOOK at it?? It’s beautiful. 
Couple that with a bowl of yummy edamame and I am in serious foodie heaven. Oh yeah, it’s that good. I’ve even been able to get my girls to try some sushi too. Nothing too ostentatious, Brenna loves most things tempura, so she LOVES Vegas rolls, and Lorynn will actually eat a California roll or two before she decides she wants something else ;) Start them young and by the time they are old enough we can enjoy Sushi and Sake together.. Cool Beans.

Yep, it’s the weekend, so since I’ve been spending it playing with friends I am combining ;)
Today’s joy is pretty simple, but quite honestly something that can turn a bad day into fantastic. I am not sure why it is, but I LOVE driving… Not just any driving though.. I like to drive fast with the window’s rolled down and the music cranked up as loud as my speakers will allow me. It just makes my heart sing. Yes, I’ve eluded to this before. There is seat dancing, loud belting of tunes and the occasional air guitar; and cold weather doesn’t stop me.. If it’s cold; you just crank up the seat warmers and the heater. It is instant satisfaction… And happily my girls enjoy it with me. Yes, sometimes the music is different when they are DJing, but nothing makes my heart smile more than to hear Lorynn singing along as loud as she can in the back seat..
Today was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the roads were clear, and it was just me and an ipod full of happiness. Good times.

Today has been kind of a hard day for me. I seem to be trucking along as I often do, doing what needs to be done, then WHAMO. I get side swiped by a rush of emotions. [What is that about??]
Today was just hard. At one point. I had both of my daughters crying in the backseat on their way home from visiting their dad’s house because they missed him, and they didn’t get to snuggle him.
Sometimes divorce is heartbreaking. Then, me; sitting in the car, listening to music that was just too melancholy. Letting it take me to that place… Wait a minute.. This is a JOY JOURNAL. Snap out of it.
Today’s little joy is COLOR. Ahhhh. Ok, it’s a big joy for me. I find that if I surround myself with color, it breathes creativity into me. I need it. It’s like a silver cocoon wrapping around me, feeding me, filling me. We’ve been in our cute little house for a bit over a month and I’ve painted 4 rooms :)
This is the painting that sits directly over my dining room table. It’s painted with metallic acrylics, and it’s so gorgeous it SHINES>> It literally brings sunshine to my soul every morning :) It has all of my favorite colors in it, although this photo doesn’t show it very well.. Rusted Orange, Aqua, Limes and Browns. Its just yummy. Couple that with the calming blue-green on the wall.. Yes.. Pure Happiness :)

I finally stopped into a shabby chic consignment store today that has been calling my name since I moved to my new place. I ooooed and ahhhhhed for a good hour. It was fantastic :)
Chatted up the cute little store owner, and talked about the possibility of me selling some art to her… Hmmm. The wheels are turning, for sure.. I’ve been wanting to dive in more to painting. I’m still unpacking all those supplies (OMG, you should SEE my garage!!) But the plan is to organize the second car garage into a workable art space.. YEP, that makes me giddy with excitement. All my supplies have been tightly packed for over a year. They need to get out and stretch their legs, breath a little.. Poor babies.
I also fell in love with a sock monkey today. It was so cute, it needed a photo taken.
The colors alone make me happy :) Other items of joy today.. Tomorrow is Friday, and I have plans to have NO PLANS. AHHH :) And while Friday holds NO PLANS for me, Saturday and Sunday are looking to be jam packed with excitement and fun.. I love weekends like that :) Best of both worlds…
Been getting into a good routine at the gym. I’m determined to be bikini ready come summer.. Yep, that brings me mucho joy. I am spending the weekend with my two best friends, nothing like a little wine, lots of laughter, deep conversations and heartfelt confessions to make a girl feel right with the world.. YOU KNOW?

AH.. Wednesday :)
Today’s little snippet of joy was walking down the scrapbooking isle, and seeing one of my favorite Christmas lines EVER.. Almost completely sold out ;) I love it when yummy paper goes to a good home :) It makes me so happy. And I love seing my work in other people’s art. It’s such a great feeling!! Flipping through any scrapbooking or paper magazine, I always see pieces of something of I’ve created… It’s uber cool.
I created these papers originally for a digital line as ‘Merry Kissmas’ and then was asked to redo them as a paper line for Fancy Pants, ‘Frosted’. Either way, the colors in them, the snowflakes, the delicious distressing.. well, it all just makes me happy. Some of my favorite layouts ever have been created using these papers :) I just dig it..
So. Other things that have brought me joy today, in easy to read bullet form, oh YEAH ;)
- Texting with some of my new friends :)
- A Soy Chai with sugar-free vanilla YUM.
- Almost finished unpacking my office (it’s getting there baby!)
- Drinks tonight with someone COOL.
- Lots of creative ideas to keep me busy
- A gorgeous blue wall just calling out for some photos to be taken.
- Cleaning Day! (yep, I went there.)
And Tomorrow is Friday! Then I’ve got a weekend spent with my girls.. I think we are going to do squeeze in a movie night, and perhaps some shoe shopping… SWEET!

Ahhh :) It’s a long day today.. But it’s been a good one.
Today’s little snippet of joy was the arrival of my canvas. Seeing it printed, ordered from WHCC on their new float wraps (15×30), it looks AMAZING in real life. (printed on metallic with gloss finish)
I made this art for my bedroom, it’s good feng shui, my own personal spell of happiness and love. Hung in just the right place to bring me good energy. It’s the first thing you see when you walk into the bedroom. I love it.
It makes me happy to see it. Yes, hanging this will only fuel the fire in wanting to paint my bedroom, but I’ve only got a few more rooms to paint and then I will be done for a while. I’ve decided to go red, black, and grey in the bedroom. It’s dramatic, and vibrant. Hmm.. Just talking about it makes me want to paint. I think the only thing stopping me … the dilemma of moving my ginormous kind sized bed.. BUT, where there is a will; there is always a way :)

Welcome to February.. Can the calendar REALLY be true? Wow.
So I’ve decided for the entire month of February, I am going to share my Joy Journal here. In many ways it is much like a gratitude journal, but with my own little spin.. There is so much that I am thankful for, little things that bring me joy. This journal is a way for me to celebrate that, to help me recognize and see all of my little joys, my little truths for what they are.. It’s all about the big and little things that make me smile.
So today I was happily blessed with the opportunity to visit with one of my best friends for a lunch date. Kristie and I go way back.. (I’m talking second grade here!) And no.. I am NOT going to drudge out those photos to prove it..(Lee, you had better not either!) I am so fortunate to be surrounded by the very best of friends. People who get me and see me as I am.
We are there for each other through all of life’s ups and downs. It truly is a beautiful thing and I couldn’t imagine my life without my best friends. Kristie and I see each other often, even though she lives an hour away. Today I made the drive and the drive itself made me happy. Blue skies; speckled with clouds, (OMG could spring be on the way??) music cranked up as loud as my speakers could handle it. I found myself flying down the highway with a HUGE grin on my face, god; it was just what I needed today.
You will excuse the crappy snap shots.. I only had my camera phone with me today.. It did however make me realize how much I LOVE photography, and how I NEED to be doing more of it. For a while there, I took a break, wasn’t even packing my camera in the car with me when I was out and about. Today that changes.
I crave taking images. I love the excitement it holds for me. People, places, things.. It doesn’t really matter. I am vowing to make it more a part of my daily life. It fulfills me.
So, a few more items to add to my Joy Journal today..
Recognizing I need to start packing my camera with me ALWAYS because I crave images more than I crave most anything else. Learning how to use my camera phone because even though a girl may have her principles, every image does not always have to be perfection ;) Driving down the freeway at speeds of 95+ miles an hour, just feeling free, happy and alive, blasting out one of my favorite songs over and over again.. Learning all the words to said favorite song, and belting that sucker out for all to hear :) - Can you say, seat dancing in the car??

This photo was almost not possible today..
We had someone break into our house yesterday. I had left the garage door open the night before until about 9PM with my purse in the car and it unlocked. Someone helped themselves to about $80 from my purse, however, they didn’t touch any of my credit cards, my checkbook, my TWO iPods sitting in the front seat. I didn’t even realize anything had happened until yesterday morning when I took the girls to get their ‘Twinkle Toes’. I went to pay for them and realized that someone had stolen all the money out of my purse.
I figured it was probably a neighbor kid. Since they didn’t take anything else..
Well, when we got home, we realized that someone had broken in our house. They probably took the spare house key out of my car and waited for us to leave.. They had gathered up piles of things they were going to take, my golf clubs, our wii/wii fit, video games. I am not sure what deterred them.. Maybe we came home too soon, and they didn’t get to finish? Maybe it was neighbor kids and they chickened out.. I DON’T KNOW..
But I counted it as a MIRACLE>
First, they only took the money out of my purse..
Second, thousands of dollars worth of Camera and Lens equipment was UNTOUCHED. OMG. Camera and Lens equipment that I am NOT in a position to be able to replace right now if stolen, equipment that I haven’t insured again since my divorce.. I wanted to cry. From relief, from the violation of SOMEONE actually being in our house.. If it had been someone more seasoned in burglery, I may be singing a different tune today.
The break in REALLY freaked the girls out. Even though we didn’t actually lose any of our things. The fact that someone was in our house, a ‘bad person’; the images of the piles of things that they had gathered around our house.. It was scary. Brenna’s room is downstairs and I know it will be quite awhile before she is ready to sleep down there alone again.. It made them feel better that the police came and dusted for fingerprints, it made them feel better that we had a locksmith change out all the locks in the house. I think too putting in a few extra measures of security will also help calm their nerves, and you can bet that my car will ALWAYS be locked and garage door closed.
Being a single mom in a new neighborhood, there are many of my neighbors that I haven’t ventured out and met yet.. Mostly because there just are not enough hours in the day. The funny thing about cops coming to your house though, is it brings everyone else out of theirs. It was almost surreal. And it was an amazing ‘after-effect’ of everything. Neighbors came out, showed their support. One neighbor noticed a sprinkler that was broken and fixed it on the spot, another offered to help me with my weed garden I have been cultivating. My parents were also over there with me offering support, and it almost felt like a neighborhood block party.
Still, sleeping last night was a little hard at first, every creak the house made Brenna would anxiously exclaim, ‘Did you hear that?’. Even in my bed she had a hard time sleeping.. But that will pass, We are all ok, nothing major was lost, and we’ve met us some new friends. All is good :)

Lorynn and I spent our afternoon today addressing baby shower invites, she thought she was hot stuff to have such an important job, as she is an expert envelope licker and stamp sticker-oner.
I created some custom baby shower invites for my friend, Jen. I normally use WHCC for all of my printing and when I ordered her cards I noticed they are now offering press printed cards on recycled paper. Since Jen is a self proclaimed hippy-girl I thought she’d appreciate that. However I was kind of disappointed in the finish as it ended up very dull. I guess you just can’t save the enviornment and have vibrant prints at the same time ;) I am wondering if anyone else has had the experience before using recycled product?
So, I’ve been working this week on Fancy Pants goodies, I believe we will be posting some sneak peaks soon of our new product releases! So stay tuned for that!
Also, we have some new things a brewing for Little Dreamer in the month of August :) I think you will all be pleasantly surprised! I can’t tell you much yet, but we will be having a huge bash August 1st and of course you will all be invited! :)

So, it’s been a while since I’ve posted.. It would seem that the month of May has really kicked my butt :) May is always busy with Fancy Pants, creating fun new product for CHA Summer.. But this May has been particularly interesting for many reasons.
So, where to start.. First. I am grieving for the loss of a dear friend. She unexpectedly passed away last week. I think I am still in shock over it. Melannie was the little sister to my best friend since the second grade. We all grew up together.. I think I was at Nikk and Mel’s house more often than I was at my own. There were three of us, Myself, Nikki and Kristie. We were inseparable. Mel was the tag along little sister, but honestly, we had more fun when she was with us.. Usually, late at night after Nikki and Kristie called it quits.. Mel and I could be found perfecting our sneaking out techniques, singing Heart at the top of our lungs, or burping our ABC’s together. Ah.. those were the days :)

Here is a photo that was taken of us at Melannie’s funeral.
I think it’s funny how we change, but remain the same. I am so grateful for these friends of mine. They are really more like sisters. Losing Melannie so suddenly, has really made me put people and friendships into the proper perspective.
It also makes me appreciate my girls, just that much more. I’ve been trying to find more time with them to just play.. It’s SO easy to get caught up in life and work, that playtime can sometimes be missed. Yesterday we went out to lunch and then stopped in at our favorite downtown fountain :) to just play in the water.. It was extremely crowded, apparently we were not the only ones with the same idea.. I didn’t get any fabulous photos, but I am sharing them anyway :)
This one would have been cool, had anonymous child from the right not ran into my frame..
Oh well.. I did get a thumbs up from Lorynn, and that was the point, right?
SO, today, I am still working.. Trying to wrap up my new lines with FP. Tomorrow, I think we are going to head out to Lagoon in the morning and then maybe we’ll grab a matinee of ‘UP’. It looks SO cute! :)

Yep, to dispel any rumors there might be floating out there. I am NO June Cleaver :)
I will admit to hiring a housekeeper, and even a part time nanny ;) (Hey a single girl has got to live, right??) But there is one thing that I try to do every now and again, and that is bake. I remember when I was a child, coming home from school and finding my mother in the kitchen whipping up a batch of her famous chocolate chip cookies. The smell of them, that feeling inside of ‘ah, thanks mom!’, and just the simple warm chocolatey goodness :) YUM.
Today was a baking day. Nothing too complex, just a perfect batch of chocolate chip cookies. YUM!
I also HAD to snap some photos of Lorynn today. I was out driving and I saw the most fantastic dandelion patch.. Now, I almost love dandelions more than I love roses.. I know, I am strange. Wild flowers, [in this case weeds] that grow in such abundance are just too irresitable to me. I love fields of any kind :)
I got some great shots, I haven’t been able to sit down and really look at all of them yet. And I’ve got more sessions from last week that I need to process too :) Yes, my work is never done..
And EEKS.. I see I forgot to watermark these.. How terribly irresponsible of me :)

Yep, it’s just regular, run-of-the-mill Utah weather :)
All the flowers and trees are trying to blossom and then it just goes and snows :)
I wonder when REAL spring will begin? Hmm.
I have, however had a great week so far, silly weather and all. I’ve been working like a crazy woman. Fancy Pants deadlines, templates for WHCC, Photo Sessions, preparing for Little Dreamer’s Second Birthday, new goodies for the shoppe, promotions for ScrapBlog, then of course there is being a mom and sleeping, right? (who needs sleep?)
I was working yesterday and I could hear Lorynn singing and dancing in the other room. I poked my head around from my computer (hey, it’s a big moniter) and this is what I saw:
This is the view directly from my office, and it just made me laugh so hard. She was singing and dancing up a storm, man, I love spunky five year olds! :) I was actually surprised that she hadn’t lined up all her animals on the floor to watch her amazing performance..
We had a fabulous Easter. Had family visting, got to hang out with Lori :) I posted a bunch of our Easter photos on my Facebook account, then realized that I didn’t blog about it.. If you want to see our Easter Soiree, you can pop on over to FB. Now with facebook, it’s just another place to goof off when I should be working, right?? I will admit to being slightly addicted to FB.
And NO.. I will NOT join Twitter, you just can’t make me do it!

I got an email today from a very excited mom :) One of my photos from my session with her adorable son, Mason, ended up on the cover of Memory Makers Mag. I am so proud, I just had to share it!
Isn’t he a cutie! :) This should be on the newstands in a few weeks. It’s my first cover, so I am pretty stinking excited.
So, today, I am trying to finish up a million things.. I have to admit that my head has been in the clouds just a little bit lately ;) I would give you the juicy details but I am not ready to share yet. It’s good though!
I do promise that my new antique actions will be out later today. Thanks to the fabulous Lauren Barden for helping me get them to function properly in PSE :)
We are also announcing a bit of WELCOMED news at Little Dreamer. We are switching to a new and improved shopping cart. THIS SATURDAY. Have you ever had one of those days when you were just CRAVING something?? I stopped drinking soda almost a year ago. But for whatever reason, I just can’t get it out of my head today that I would LOVE an ICE COLD Dt. Mountain Dew straight from the can.. AHH. Now that’s pure refreshment ;)

Today Is the first day of the newest addition to our little family. Our Nanny, Betty. (OH YEAH!) I have her coming three days a week, part time, so that I can actually get some work done. Yeah for me! Today I am trying my bestest to catch up on emails, working on a new Photoshop Action :) and Trying to finish off my Valentines kit. Who knows, I might actually have it done BEFORE Valentines day! (Now wouldn’t that be something?)
So, just popping in here to blog land to wish everyone a happy Friday :)

I need a couple of willing testers to test out my new photoshop action. Here is what it looks like:
It’s actually two actions, one to colorize your photo, Vintage Color, and then a second one to add it to the antique paper.
I am looking for Elements users, on a mac using PSE 5, 6 or 7 Elements users on Vista, using PSE 5, 6 or 7 and Elements users on Windows, using PSE 4, 5, 6 or 7.
I also need a Photoshop 7.0, and CS4 users :) Send me your email and I will send you links to download.

Well, I figure that I had better post something here since it’s now almost 13 days into January :) I’ve been pretty busy, and my blog is always the first thing to go..
So, let’s talk 2009! It’s no secret that 2008 was a difficult year for me. I can easily say that it has been the hardest year of my life. It ended with me in a place that I NEVER thought I would find myself in. So, 2009 is a year for me to make the necessary changes in my life to get myself back on track.
So my resolutions for 2009, are:
Redecorate my new home (YEAH!)
Get to the gym at least 3 days a week
Run on the treadmill the other 4 days ;)
Learn to play the guitar
Laugh more
Love more
DESIGN MORE
And just live :)
I am learning to be happy all on my own, and I have to tell you, it’s pretty empowering.
I did a quick layout tonight, it’s actually my first layout of the year, I wanted it to be something cathartic..
It’s a simple design, but powerful for me.
